Mile-High Trail Mix

Servings 4 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • 1/2 cup banana chips
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla optional
  • 2 Tbsp agave or honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. . Pre-Heat oven to 300 degrees.

  2. In a large bowl, combine coconut oil, agave or honey, vanilla and cinnamon. Stir in nuts being sure to coat each nut evenly.

  3. Spread the coated nuts in a single layer on a rimmed cookie sheet.

  4. Bake for 60 minutes, stirring every 20 minutes, until nuts are golden brown and no longer sticky to the touch.

  5. Remove from oven and stir in banana chips.

  6. Let cool and store in a travel container or baggie.
