
Peanutbutter Chocolate Chip Bars

							Ingredients
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup almond or oat flour
- 1/4 cup dried quinoa
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- dash salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- 
										Pre-heat the oven to 300 degrees. 
- 
										Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper or heavily grease. 
- 
										Place peanut butter and honey in a large, microwave safe bowl and warm for 30 seconds. 
- 
										Stir in applesauce and vanilla. 
- 
										Mix in remaining ingredients. 
- 
										Transfer to the 8x8 dish, cover with parchment paper and press the mixture down evenly into the dish. Using something heavy like a meat is especially helpful to use for this. 
- 
										Remove top parchment and place the bars in the oven. 
- 
										Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. 
- 
										Let cool and cut into 12 bars. 
- 
										Store in an airtight container.
